One of the main objectives of CGS is to evaluate new varieties. To this end, our Company has established contacts and collaborations with numerous Italian and foreign breeders in order to assess new genetic materials at an advanced stage of selection, close to be included in the National Catalogue of Varieties, or recently included in it.
CGS is part of a national network coordinated by public instituitions of the seed sector and carries out a major experimentation program aiming at the agronomic and quality assessment of the genetic material proposed.
The trials are conducted at various sites directly by CGS or through experimentation instituitions always under the supervision of CGS. |
